Dan Whittaker founded Whittaker & Company in 1999 to help private business owners and executives build more profitable, rewarding enterprises. With respect for the owner or executive’s position, Dan is able to bring a fresh perspective that often opens up new pathways to a company’s success. His advisory services include:

Growing up in an entrepreneurial family, Dan had an early passion for improving business strategies and operations. He began his career at a large local certified public accounting firm in Southern California before joining KPMG LLP, where he was manager in the tax and consulting departments. While at KPMG, he consulted with Fortune 1000 enterprises on strategic tax and consulting projects, including clients in the manufacturing/distribution, health care, real estate development and investment industries.
A graduate of California State University, Long Beach, Dan is a Certified Public Accountant who is constantly seeking ways to benefit clients. He is a member of RAN ONE’s Masters Group and is a certified graduate of the Business Professionals Course from the Aji Network, an organization focused on top 1% income earners.
In 2014, Dan earned the designation of Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA) from the Exit Planning Institute (EPI). Their CEPA designation program is the most widely-accepted and endorsed professional exit planning program in the world.
When not assisting Whittaker & Company clients, Dan enjoys golfing and family trips to the river with his wife and two children.
